Ashtanga yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of
postures that are held for several seconds. It is an invigorating and dynamic form
of yoga which incorporates deep breath and rhythmic movement. With each posture,
internal heat is generated creating a strong and light body while improving
circulation and cleansing the mind. Through out the period of one class, one is
able to gain focus, balance, alignment and flexibility. Most important of all, the
opportunity to sweat and have fun presents itself with open arms!
