Ashtanga yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures that are held for several seconds. It is an invigorating and dynamic form of yoga which incorporates deep breath and rhythmic movement. With each posture, internal heat is generated creating a strong and light body while improving circulation and cleansing the mind. Through out the period of one class, one is able to gain focus, balance, alignment and flexibility. Most important of all, the opportunity to sweat and have fun presents itself with open arms!

Wake Up Yoga is a great way to start your day! A stretch and strengthening asana to open up the mind and body. All levels of experience are welcome.

Hatha Yoga will emphasize the foundations of alignment, breath, and the use of one's core. We will discover the ability to stay present and connected to one's body and spirit.

Mixed Level Hatha Flow, or Vinyasa Krama in the tradition of Krishnamacharya, is intentional sequencing of postures and movements, to activate muscles and connective tissue. No two classes will be the same as we learn to work with injuries, limitations and the natural fluctuations of energy.

Kundalini Yoga uses dynamic breathing techniques, mantra, and body posture to relax the body and free the mind and spirit.

Devotional Chanting is the beautiful yoga, which stills the mind and opens the heart. Amritakripa has been leading devotional chants for twenty years having been inspired by her guru, Mata Amritanandamayi. Over the years she has performed with Bhagavandas, Krishna Das, Wah! and David Stringer. These monthly sessions will combine transcendent music, dance and fellowship in a beautiful setting where audience participation is encouraged.

Sacred Dance, the essences of spiritual truth cannot be communicated in words. Through ritual dance we develop new neuro synapses which help unite us with those subtle spiritual essences. As a result, the whole body becomes one unified organ of spiritual insight. The ritual dance workshops are open to every moving body regardless of age, size, gender or physical ability. The workshops will be hosted by the Butter Thief Jam Band and other special guests.

Meditation, ‘Just Sitting' - A blend of meditation techniques designed for individual exploration within a supportive group setting. Meditation is a proven stress reducer and a window to self-realization. Come join us, your first meditation class is free.

Restorative Yoga is a relaxing way to wind down from the day. Deep, slow stretching and focus on coordinating movement and breath will help you release the physical and mental tensions that have accumulated earlier in the day. Learn to let go of the icky build-up of perpetual stress.

Vinyasa Yoga is the linking of postures into a flow that becomes an exhilarating union of asana, pranayama and meditation. We will work with opposition, lines of energy, alignment and extension in order to increase strength, flexibility and stamina. Break through physical and psychological blocks by learning to use your breath, generate energy and listen to your body’s feedback. You will leave feeling more balanced, clear and free!
