Ray Jayne Flores has embraced yoga exploration for nine years. She taught on Catalina Island for four years until her move to Yucca Valley a year ago. She attended Pranayama Weekend at the White Lotus Foundationn in Santa Barbara to celebrate her 50th Birthday in 2005 and returned for their teachers training program with Ganga White and Tracey Rich in March 2007. She also went to the White Lotus to continue her education for Therapeutic Yoga Training with Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal earlier this year.
Her classes have a creative and intuitive flow and she takes her inspiration from many sources. She is honored to share in the yoga adventure with all who practice here. Life goes better with Yoga!

Students in Ellie’s classes receive gentle guidance in the practice of yoga techniques for strengthening the body and mind and for moving toward self-discovery. Asanas are given in graduated levels, from the basics to more advanced forms. Students enjoy a chance to practice yoga mindfully, without harm to self, and with a sense of humor and appreciation.

Open Heart Yoga is a therapeutic class focusing on shoulders, building strength and discovering alignment in fundamental yoga postures. Gentle and restorative postures will be balanced with active strengthening poses. Modifications and props make this class accessible to all.

Jonathan Button began to study yoga growing up overseas as the son of an American diplomat. Places of study included American International School in Israel, Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, India, and Sophia University, Japan.
In 1975 he met his teacher, Yogi Bhajan in New Mexico and began teaching Kundalini yoga. He was certified in 1998. Since then he has created his own unique practice while teaching in San Diego.
